This visionary oil painting was created of the famous Lahaina banyan tree.  It’s a depiction of what is above in this life sometimes appears below in slightly different forms.  Ponder that for a moment?  I chose to paint it as a cluster of coral reminiscent of the glorious tree.  Look for Maui reef fishes and sharks.  The leaves are becoming the fish in this painting?  Symbolic.  The fish are schooled up in the bottom left.  They form mermaids and merman or a representation of man.  I ponder the sustenance of the fish as a food source and species that have provided basic nourishment and other characteristics to our beloved reefs and way of life!  Yes this painting is Environmental,  Yes this painting asks what can we do to help the reefs and eco system?  BANYAN TREE of DREAMS is a marvelous master work.
